Dr Neha Nandal

MBBS MD DM-Neurology FRACP, Neurologist

Dr Neha Nandal is currently working as a Senior Staff Specialist (Neurologist) at Toowoomba Hospital. She manages a broad spectrum of neurological conditions and is passionate about delivering high quality Neurology services. She firmly believes in providing individualised patient- centric care with a focus on empathetic doctor-patient communication.

In addition to general neurology, she has special interests in Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Headache and Movement Disorders. She has over 8 years of experience in Neurology, post completing her Neurology training.

She completed her Neurology training from AIIMS (New Delhi) which is a premier medical institute, where she also conducted research in Stroke and Epilepsy. Upon moving to Australia, she gained extensive experience in Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis while working as a Stroke Fellow in ACT and MS Fellow in Newcastle respectively. After her fellowships, she moved to Queensland and has been practicing as a Neurologist here.

In addition to her clinical duties, she enjoys participating in clinical research and teaching. She is currently associated with The University of Queensland as a Senior Lecturer, where she is involved in teaching our future doctors.
